Stunned

The magnificent beasts

Dared not prowl

The earthly ones

Dared not breathe

Scared were they to disturb the serene beauty of the

creature

Who lay peacefully amongst the heather

The gentle breeze caressing his hair

The moon beams reflecting his edges

A beauty indescribable

Even Artemis felt drawn

The first streaks of light bounced off his skin

Slowly did he open his eyes

Even Aphrodite forgot how to breathe

Haze filled orbs searched about

Forehead wrinkling, eyes squinting

As he welcomed the morning rays

Stretching out he stood

Gasped did the world

In place of a soft and gentle being

Stood a noble one

Envious did even Adonis feel

For he knew he can never compete

With such eloquence and magnificence

Blessed thought they

For the one who owned his heart

As beauty, grace and grandiose

All rested in one place.
