Security refers to the state of being free from danger or injury of any sort. It has become a major issue throughout the decades and is one of the most pursued essentials of life.

Security is not just about avoiding getting harmed. Security is also about living our lives pleasantly everyday with a sense of guarantee that nothing is going to gatecrash and ruin our lives. Personal security is a right of every man and woman. It must be a fundamental right. This provision of security has to be guaranteed by the forces our government has appointed. It is their duty to question breach of security and protect the innocent civilians at any cost. But corrupt politicians and agents risk the lives of ordinary civilians in order to protect themselves and their agendas from the eyes of justice. The ones who should be giving us security are the very ones misusing their authority. There are countless examples spread throughout history to explain this. From ancient kings to modern politicians, some of them have been selfish putting their interests before the security of the very people they swore to protect.

The society we live in consists of not only good people. The definition of good constantly keeps changing. There are people out their who are rapists, thieves, cyber bullies, murderers, extortionists who daily put our personal security at risk. Due to these threats we are forced to bring our rights under control. Maintaining inter-personal security is as important as maintaining security. We need to look out for each other. We should not solely rely on the police forces. There will always be circumstances where these forces become helpless. We need to make our stand during those times. We need to guard our lives and the lives of those around us using the security we possess. Our personal security can be anything from knowledge of martial arts for self defense to skilled bargain as marketers do.

Political security is the defense against any form of political oppression. There is never everlasting peace in politics. Whatever a party tries to do something, there will always be a sect of critics criticizing its every move. But as much as this is important for the development of a country, some of these political critics expand with wrong policies and decide to form armed organizations to topple governments and become anarchists.

But this form of threat, as well as affecting political security, also deeply affects inter-personal security on many levels. Therefore, security must be an essential need. As essential as the homes we live in. It must be taken seriously by everybody and it must be exercised by the population to reduces harassment of any kind and live peacefully.
