Friendship

Friendship is counted in years say

they,

NO! protest I out loud.

Friendship is quoted in virtuous acts

Acts of love

Acts of kindness

Acts of jealousy

Acts of valour

How could thou be so sure?

Was the question raised.

Sure was I for I had proof,

Of thy divine love for me.

Time may not measure the weight

As it was pure in our hearts

Friendship so inexplicably

beautiful

As a newborn's innocent heart
