The School Detective Gang (Lord Chanchellor's Daughter, #1) Review by Harees Srini

Updated: Jun 2, 2020

A lot of avid readers might find certain similarities of this book to Harry Potter, Famous Five, and of course Sherlock Holmes (which the author has generously alluded to). But it's wrong to say that he has borrowed entire concepts. All amateur pick up by basing their stories on the pieces that interested them as a reader. The story does have loopholes, some obvious, but they seem to matter the least when you finish reading it. Abdul Azeez has also masterfully designed the ending that allows future sequels to pick up from. It's an effort that should be appreciated. Knowing the author personally, he is a man of a plethora of talents which he puts into wise use. We all look forward to the second book of The School Detective Gang which will answer a lot of questions for us, the readers. Cheers! Harees Srini
